“ This is a must. Especially right now during the chilly weather. This place will warm you right up. Between the amazing tea, the aesthetic, and the phenomenal food. This place was immaculately clean and super cute with its decor and set up. They had a large drink menu to choose from. It was nice as a non coffee drinker to have a large selection of teas to choose from. . Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Also maybe the best fish and chips around? Our server Hayley was perfect. Helped us out with any questions and we never wanted for anything. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend a reservation. Also the bathroom was . And as a woman I can appreciate that. ”

“ I have to admit, when told a group of us were meeting at Cheeky bastard for lunch. I was not thrilled. My first thought was boring English food. Was I ever wrong! The food is delicious and there are choices for everyone. I ordered the Saint Michael - an excellent and tasty corned beef sandwich. My friends ordered their chicken salad sandwich and fish and chips! Everyone was happy with their food, menu, atmosphere and decor. Our server was extremely helpful and attentive. The owner came to our table and shared many stories about living in England after his divorce, changes on the horizon, etc. He is very friendly and loves his restaurant and patrons.. We ended with an array of scones that were delicious! So good!!! After spending nearly four hours at this little gem, we departing full, satisfied and happy. ”
“ Really awesome service and extraordinary food. I can’t recommend this place enough. Rare for me to finish my entire meal and leave nothing left to take home, and in this instance I was essentially licking my plates clean. Recommend to get the Scottish Egg, The steak and Guinness Sheppard pie, and the sausage rolls...the best!!! ”
“ As a Brit, I was interested in checking this place out, especially after my family who live here recommended it. Cool layout, friendly welcome. Fish and Chips were good, Steak and Guinness pie was amazing! Chef/owner came over often to check on us and have a natter. Highly recommended. And the name is great! ”
“ Looking for proper English food? Here is your restaurant! A delightful experience of food and atmosphere. We were seated right away, and the service was prompt and helpful. Ordered a pot of tea, shepherd's pie, beef Wellington bites, and, of course, fish and chips. The fish and chips had the lightest, most crispy breading! Not soggy, huge piece of fish, and very tasty with the tarter sauce, or vinegar and salt! The serving of shepherd's pie was generous and had a wonderful flavor. The cost was a bit pricey (but what isn't these days?), but there was plenty of good food and good service. They also do afternoon tea service (2nd Sunday of the month) and have a fun collection of customer gifted tea cups. Highly recommend, and I look forward to a return visit. ”
